hi dears
i have a clustered column visual
i need to know how do i make the last month value to be colored with a different color than the previous months?
i.e. we are on ocotober so i need september to be colored with a different color so the one who is seeing the visual will be able to notice the last month value
you may refer to the below example
Solved! Go to Solution.
Create a measure to control the colours:
Colour Measure = If( month(lastdate(table[date column]) )= Month(today()) -1, "Green")
You could also use Calculate(Month(lastdate(table[date column]), all(table[date column)) instead of today()
Assign this measure to the column colour under Field value.

Hi @Anonymous
You can assign this field to the column in your visual.
Select the column chart.
Go the the Visualisation pane and choose the paint brush icon.
Scroll to Column and expand to the Color setting.
Click the Fx symbol.
Change the drop down to Field Value.
Select the measure you created.
