help required in Alert mechanism

Hi, I have a table with few columns. One of the column is having month details. Is it possible to create an alert ( email to be sent to recipient) once I reach the month. For example on 31st March , I need to send an automatic email to recipient that following activities going to happen in April. Thanks in advance
