grouping some measures and put in matrix

Hi,

I created a bunch of measures in my fact table, lets say:

- Working Hours Standard

- Working Hours Overtime

- Working Hours Weekend

- AVG Working Hours Standard Monthly

- AVG Working Hours Overtime Monthly

- AVG Working Hours Weekend Monthly

Please don;t mind about the formula, the intention after that is, I want to display it in Matrix Visualization, with some leveling like below :

Kindly help,

Thanks

@admin_xlsior you need to have Standard/Overtime/Worked as column in your model. Seems like you need to change how your table is structured. It need to be unpivoted (as looks like)

Hi,

Unpivot meaning it is not possible ?

I just found this approach, while it looks good, but then after I tried, the Subtotal and Grandtotal per rows is incorrect.

Thanks,

@admin_xlsior without knowing how your data table is structured, it is very hard to answer. I was replying to your original post and now why numbers are incorrect, it could be totally different thing.

You need to share sample data and what you are trying to achieve, it will help you get the solution/answer quickly.

Hi,

Apologize to be unclear.

Please find below link :

I have created a sample .pbix to re-create the approach in that link, hope it will help to explain more clear. Just FYI, the measures created are for sample in order to have a value only, so it does not serve any purpose. The way it needs to group in the column level in the matrix is the point of intention.

Thanks.

Hi,

Actually it is only part of the solution. As mentioned, the matrix cannot calculate the Row Total and Row Grand Total.

Thanks,

Hi guys,

Does anyone know how to resolves this?

Thanks,
