get data from php script

If i have source that does not connect to MPBI, i created some script(php) that get the data that i want, is there a way to send the data directly to MPBI table?

Is it possible with API call? if so, API calls works on tabels that was built in desktop? or i need to create, send the data and refresh only from API calls?
