Hi all,
exist a function in power bi which works like the function "isnull" in t-sql?
I have a measure which sum a value over a periode and it shows the result in a table. If there aren't any values for a periode it shows nothing. In this case I want to have 0.00 instead of nothing.
Have anyone an idea?
thanks
Sebastian
Solved! Go to Solution.
@Sebastian can you share your expression? because isblank() returns you a boolean so it can be used with conditional expressions. If you want to to return blank value you can use something like
IF( ISBLANK(TABLE[MEASURE]), BLANK(),TABLE[MEASURE])
OR
IF( ISBLANK(TABLE[MEASURE]), 0,TABLE[MEASURE])
My solution will be to add +0 to your calculation and the zeros will show. You can then reformat it to decimal.
Use IsBlank() DAX function
TestNullData = IF(ISBLANK(ExchangeRate[ValidTo]), 1, 0)
Try ISBLANK()
and to send data BLANK()

I tried this function but as i used isblanc() the measure showed 0.00 like i want it but deleted all other values from other fields in the same row.

Can this be used advanced editor? I want to check for null that i'll pass as parameters.
Thanks
Ah ok,
it was as stupid mistake by myself.
I use if(isblank(table[measure]='true';0.00;table[measure]
Sorry guys.
Thanks a lot.
