formula giving the wrong result

The screenshot, selected is Nov, date diff = 0 when snapshot name = reporting month. The total is right 425K, but I want that only for Nov And for August, I would want where the sum total value of august
if that makes sense.

 

Here is the forumla :

The formula isn't wrong. Instead of explicitly stating YEAR = 2011, you would say the selected value of the period (YTD) to get what you needed. Alternatively, you could also apply a filter on the table, for example, N top - pull the latest 2 dates.
