filters not related to a table being shown on export of the table

I have a table chart in power bi service. Also there are a few slicers also within the report. When i perform an 'export to excel' of the table from power bi service, even though  a few slicers are not directly related to teh table being exported, shows up in the excel. Is this a default behaviour in power bi

Hi @dennydavis

Although the slicers are not directly related to the table being exported, but they are plotted in the same report, and interactions with the unrelated visuals exist, even it doesnt make effect. If you wanna the slicers' elements dont show in excel, take the following steps:

Go to related report>edit>edit interactions:on

Then select the slicers you dont wanna show in the exported visual, and go to the visual you wanna export ,click the top right button:"None":

Finnaly you wont see the unrelated data showing in the exported excel.

Hi @dennydavis ,

What do mean by the highlighted part here:

I have a table chart in power bi service. Also there are a few slicers also within the report. When i perform an 'export to excel' of the table from power bi service, even though  a few slicers are not directly related to teh table being exported, shows up in the excel. Is this a default behaviour in power bi

When you are trying to export data from this table visual, if there are any selections made in the slicers in the report, that will also get exported in excel as the top row. This is irrelevant to if they affect this table visual or not.

Please share some screenshots of your report with the issue if this is not clear.

Thanks,

Pragati
