filtering - Case Sensitive

Hi,

I'm connection Live to Power BI with Tabular model.

I want to use a filter on a string field using advanced option of "contains". I've noticed it is not case sensitive, so if the condition is field contains "OF" I get results also for field contains "of".

Is there a way to apply case sensitive filters somehow?

Hi @Yael,

Based on my test, it is by design that Visual level filters/Report level filters/Page level filters are not case sensitive. The only workaround is to apply filter via DAX.

Hmm, I know that FIND is case sensitive.

thanks @Greg_Deckler, but I was hoping to use the out of the box filtering capabilities Power BI has instead of using DAX.

It seems that the out of the box advanced filtering of "contains" is not case sensitive.
