filter question

Hello,

This is my data model

This is my table

When I create the measure below:

Total Profit =

Calculate([Profit],

REMOVEFILTERS('Sales by Store'

)

)

I get the Total Profit.

My question is I have not applied a filter but there is an implied filter from the product column.  Is this called a Query Context?
