Is there a straight forwar way to export to excel power bi report to excel without going to the (...)? in other words, is it possible to create a button to export to excel?

If it's because you want certain data in Excel and have it be refreshed as the data refreshes (without having to download it everytime), you can use Analyze in Excel and build the same table there that way it is connected to your model and the data is in sync. You can also insert a connected table from Power BI to Excel (again, better than exporting to Excel because you have a connection to the semantic model, whereas an export is static).
