I would like to create a new column in a table that will evaluate the rows on another details table for each call to determine if the value “Yes” exists. The field that contains the value “Yes” is a calculated column. If the value “Yes” exists for any of the rows in the details, then the entire call will be “Yes” in the calls table. There is a relationship established between these 2 tables.
How can I achieve this?
Calls Table – 1 row per call
Call #
1
2
3
Details Table – multiple rows per call
Call # / Is Warranty?
1 / Yes
1 / No
2 / Yes
3 / No
Results:
Call # / Is Warranty
1 / Yes
2 / Yes
3 / No

Hi @lizrowden ,
you can create a calculated column like this:
Column =
IF (
COUNTROWS (
FILTER (
ALL ( warranty );
warranty[Call # ] = 'call'[Call #]
&& warranty[Is Warranty] = "Yes"
)
) >= 1;
"Yes";
"No"
)
Cheers,
Sturla
