errror

Hi All,

I'm getting error. Pls look below screenshot.. Can anyone guide me in deatil...

okay , look at the tables that emaster has a relation with and then look at the column that the relationship is made with, it should have the same type in both tables.

I checked everything now, really found nothing. I checked dax as well to check which columns are using and they have correct type or not.. suprise part is in query editor nothing showing

Hello @PowerBIBeginer ,

 

go into transformation data, ant try refreshing every table seperatly, it will show which table has the error and what is the error and i which step it is generated.

I done that multiple times and there is no error on any table..

 

@PowerBIBeginer ,

 

okay in the employee master, there is a column with type that not matching, check the types if the columns of this table in power query

every column in EMaster looks correct.

Thanks for the solution. What happens here is in one of the dax i use column which has number value.. but dont know somehow its converted in text data type, due to which an error on that dax appears.. its rectified now

 

Im sorry first, I did not appriciate your reply (bcoz of the unnecessary frustration)..

 

Thanks for your reply.. since yestreday, I did all this checks, and nothing found.. really dont understand what going wrong.. error is also not very specific to found out
