enter dates in slicer filter

Hey guys, 
is there a way to enter in the date filter mm-yyyy instead of mm/dd/yyyy ?

if not is there a workaround?

Not with the default "between" slicer, no.

you can use the format or calculated data table as demonstrated in the sample PBIX file.
