dynamic dashboard: userinput for filter date_begin and date_end

I would like to have a dynamic dashboard.

The enduser wants to enter a begin and end date in his dashboard.

The original table is:

ID

startdate

enddate

hours

1

2017-12-01 00:00:00.000

2017-12-01 02:00:00.000

When the enduser filters on begindate 2017-12-02 and enddate 2017-12-05 in his dashboard only the following rows must be visualized

ID

startdate

enddate

hours

2017-12-05 03:15:00.000

Startdate >= Selected_startdate AND endate <= Selected_enddate

  • How can I do this in a powerbi dashboard?
  • Do I need 2 calander tables?
  • Do I need a measure with a DAX function (what does the dax function look like?)

Please do you want to add some screenshots or is it possible to add a downloadable PBX?
