Hi @powerbiexpert22

According to the scenario you described:

  • Current Refresh Times: Your reports currently take a maximum of half an hour to refresh, which is quite reasonable.
  • Historical Data: Your reports cover historical data from 2022 to 2024. If the size of your dataset is not overly large and the current refresh time is acceptable, incremental refresh might not be necessary at this moment.
  • Future Growth: Consider the future growth of your dataset. If you anticipate significant data growth, implementing incremental refresh now can prepare you for future needs.

Decision

Based on your current refresh times and dataset size, incremental refresh may not be urgently needed. However, if you expect your data to grow significantly or if you want to optimize your refresh process proactively, implementing incremental refresh can be beneficial.
