how to load the data faster from SharePoint to desktop, while applying the changes to edit query it has taking a long time to connect to Sharepoint.

 how to reduce the time for connection SharePoint to desktop edit query

Hi @slankapalli,

 

What changes have you done in Power Query?

 

Do you use multiple references in Power Query, such as Query4 reference to Query 2and Query 3, and Query 2  reference to Query 1?

 

If you use the multiple references which may caused the slow loading, you could use Table.Buffer to help you.

 

Here is a similar thread which has been solved, you could have a good look at.

 

Besides, your network situation is also one of the reasons, you should have a good network environment.

 I have solved the problem by disabling the below properties. it will increase the performance  of edit query.
