From Table1 I have brought in CYM_Name and filtered on 'december'

But when I bring in calendarSYW from Table2 it doesnt filter 'December' Weeks.

When I bring in calendarSYW from Table1 it works.

How can I get this to work? Is it even possible?

Hi @samnaw ,

I read your question as "filtering on a field from table1 doesn't filter table2, why not?".

If this was indeed your question, then it's to do with the direction of your relationship between these tables. You can see that table2 is the One side (1) of the relationship, and that table1 is the Many side (*). You can also see that the arrow on the relationship line points from table2 to table1. Both of these things indicate that it will be filters placed on fields from table2 that filter items in table1. If you really need this to work the other way round, you can right-click on the relationship line, go to Properties, and change the filter direction to 'Both'. This will allow either table to filter the other, but this kind of setup isn't generally recommended unless you're very clear on the effects of this type of relationship, particularly when you start building larger models.
