I have my data label detail in the bar graph which seems to have color formatting working fine for it as seen below
but as soon as click any other visual that slices the data across the page including my bar graph the color formatting for the data label details acts weirdly as seen below.
as you can see the data label detail is negative it should show a red color as I have kept the formatting of the data label details that way.
if I use a proper slicer to slice the data the color formatting works perfectly as seen below but why not in the above case?

The default behavior of this visual is cross-highlighting and I don't believe the conditional formatting works with that. You can edit interactions so that when you click on any other visual it filters your column chart instead of cross-highlighting it.
