Hi : Is there any other way I can create a table inside query editor (other than manul type it or copy and paste, where limitation 3000 cells at a time)? Looking for something similar what exist in excel.
Hi @powerinM ,
You can not create a table like in EnterData in Power Query. You can have the source as an Excel / Csv file and import the data using PowerQuery.
Cheers

@powerinM paste following code in blank query and you will get a table of random numbers
You can change following to meet your need:
TotalNumberofRecords
MinimumValue
MaximumValue
let
TotalNumberofRecords = 1000,
MinimumValue = 100,
MaximumValue = 500,
GeneratedList =
List.Generate(()=>[i=0, res = Number.Round(Number.RandomBetween(MinimumValue,MaximumValue),0)],
each [i]<TotalNumberofRecords ,
each [i=[i]+1,res = Number.Round(Number.RandomBetween(MinimumValue,MaximumValue),0)],
each [res]),
#"Converted to Table" = Table.FromList(GeneratedList, Splitter.SplitByNothing(), null, null, ExtraValues.Error),
#"Changed Type" = Table.TransformColumnTypes(#"Converted to Table",{{"Column1", Int64.Type}})
in
#"Changed Type"
