create filter from a table

Hi,

I have a main page with :

- filter slicers
- a matrix with a list of all the projects with details of budgets, actuals, etc

- a navigation button that navigates to further details of every project

When you click on a project in the table, it filters the main page. However, when you then click on the navigation button, I would like to keep the context of my selected project from the matrix as now it ofcourse only filters based on the slicers.

Any idea how to fix it?

Hi Pablo,

Thanks that helped quite a bit.

That seems to work , but now when I don't select a project I can not go any longer to the detailed report anymore. Is there a fix for that?

I have 2 tabs :

1 detailed tab

In the detailed tab I have my drillthrough settings as followed :

The button on the main tab is set up as followed :

If im not mistaken the button and the drill through are doing the same, the difference is that the button will not filter unless you select something, therefore the button is not needed as you already have the drill through option available in the visual

Hi @Anonymous !
Have you tried using the Drill Through feature?

Let me know if that helps!
