create a new column for distinct values based on another column in matrix visual.

I have been struggling to find a solution for this. I want to count a distinct value based on specialty.

I’ve got a table with some calculations as below.

Input:

SERVICE TYPE	Class Observations	Educators supported
CASE TYPE	Project	Project1
APPOINTMENT TYPE	Observation at school	Educator Group Session	Staff Consult
APPOINTMENT TYPE CODE	OAS	EGRSE	SC

In short, I want to create a total column that can give me a distinct value for each service type (Observations, Educators etc…)
