create TOP30 sales for models

hi 

want to create a new measure that is presenting the Top 30 of the Netsales by Models.

Have Models like MDL1, MDL2, MDL3 etc and then i have net sales per model. But i am interested to see what my Top 30Net sales were and the next step is to create such a Top 30 Net sales for Last Year and compare it to the current year (%)

Any suggestions.

To rank netsales by Model use the below steps:

Step 1: Take one table and drag Netsales and ModelName. Then Go to Filter Pane --> Visual Level  --> Follow step as per below screen shot:

hi Tahreem,

your solution was already known, but i am looking for a measure which only gives the number of sales of the Top X customers.

The issue is that i need to compare this number with previous year and that is something your solution will not solve.

If you want a measure to meet your requirements, you could use TOPN() function.
