Hi All,
I am trying to control 2 bookmarks using 1 button. I am not sure if that's possible as I've googled for the solution, but unable to find one.
Scenario:
2 pages report:
- Main page
- Drillthrough page
Main page has below visuals:
- 2 charts (chart 1 and chart 2) overlap each other
- 2 buttons (button 1 and button 2) not overlap
Drillthrough page has below visuals:
- 2 tables (table 1 and table 2) overlap each other
Relationship:
- chart 1 on Main page will drillthrough to table 1 on Drillthrough page
- chart 2 on Main page will drilltrhough to table 2 on Drillthrough page
Bookmarks:
- bookmark 1 shows chart 1, hides chart 2 on Main page
- bookmark 2 shows chart 2, hides chart 1 on Main page
- bookmark 3 shows table 1, hides table 2 on Drillthrough page
- bookmark 4 shows table 2, hides table 1 on Drillthrough page
Objective:
- button 1 to control bookmark 1 and bookmark 3
- button 2 to control bookmark 2 and bookmark 4
Please help if anyone know any solution/workaround. Thank you.

Hi @Rudy
Based on my test, one button can only bind to one bookmark. So I'm afraid it's not possible to use one button to control two bookmarks on different pages at the same time.
As a workaround, I recommend that you duplicate the current Drillthrough page, thus you have two Drillthrough pages. Then make the first Drillthrough page only for table 1, and make the second Drillthrough page only for table 2. You don't have to make two tables overlap each other on the same page. In this way, the buttons only need to bind to one bookmark. When drillthrough, you can choose to drillthrough to different target pages.
The button also has action type "Drill through", you can add buttons on Main page to drill through to a specific target page.

Hi Jing, thank you for your response and sorry for the late reply. I am working on another solution, but not sure if possible.
Can you advised if button clicked status can be recorded in a parameter or any measure?
Hi @Rudy , to my knowledge, the button clicked status cannot be recorded in Power BI Desktop.
