configure gateway for online to online migration

Hi Expert,

How migrate  Power BI gateway from on cloud to another example  how to connect the old gateway from new cloud instance ... i can see only gateway download option in new cloud how it will exactly  connect with reports and dashboard  on new cloud instance? how exactly it is connecting and storing information

Run the gateway installer on the computer where you want to migratean on-premises data gateway. If you’re restoring the gateway on the computer that has the original gateway installation, you must first uninstall the gateway on that computer. --> After you’ve signed in to your account, register the gateway. --> Select Migrate, restore, or takeover an existing gateway. --> Select from the available clusters and gateways, and enter the recovery key for the selected gateway. You created and safely stored the recovery key when you originally installed the gateway. --> Select Configure. After the configuration finishes, the process of migrating, restoring, or taking over is complete.
