columns to rows

I like to change the columns to rows

I like to change from left format to right format

 

either in power query or excel

Hi,

 

you can do this in power query editor,

 

open power query editor: 

DOLEARY85_0-1693486010154.png

 

select the date column

DOLEARY85_1-1693486030635.png

 

 

select pivot column on the transform ribbon

DOLEARY85_2-1693486071908.png

 

in the drop down select your value column

DOLEARY85_3-1693486096387.png

 

 

Result:

In Power Query, go to the Transform Tab, select the Date Column, then click on "Pivot Column" button.

 

For Values column, select "value".
