cluster graph -- multiple units, multiple years

I have three years of organizational data showing FTE by business unit.

We want to present the data by unit, by current month (eg June), by year -- to compare June 16 to June 17 to June 18.

See attached for excel chart. I feel like this should be super easy in power BI but I can't see the solution. any help much appreciated. (Long time lurker, first time poster. I hope I'm attaching correctly.)

my data is organized by month and business unit. it's been unpivoted.Capture.PNGCapture2.PNG

Hi @whatmary,

Based on my test, It is not possible to meet your exact same requirement as yours. However we can use column chart and Pie chart to work around.

Here I made a test and create four measures based on the sample data.

Jun 2018 = CALCULATE(SUM(Table1[FTE]),FILTER(Table1,Table1[MthYr]="Jun 2018"))

Jun 2016 = CALCULATE(SUM(Table1[FTE]),FILTER(Table1,Table1[MthYr]="Jun 2016"))
Jun 2017 = CALCULATE(SUM(Table1[FTE]),FILTER(Table1,Table1[MthYr]="Jun 2017"))
sum = [Jun 2016]+[Jun 2017]+[Jun 2018]

Then we can get the result as below.
