I need help on how to fix circular dependency error on this formula:
IF('Sales'[Store Code]<>"10022",'Sales'[YTD Amount],('Sales'[YTD Amount]+'Sales'[PY YTD Amount]))
The other formula is based from this:
YTD Amount = TOTALYTD(SUM('Sales'[Amount]),'Date'[Date])
PY YTD Amount = CALCULATE('Sales'[YTD Amount],PARALLELPERIOD('Date'[Date],-12,MONTH))

Hi @summer18 ,
A circular dependency error occurs in Power BI when two or more entities (calculated columns or calculated tables) reference one another in such a way that the engine cannot compute their value. This can happen when a computed column is dependent on another computed column, which is also dependent on the first computed column. You can refer the following blogs to try to solve your problem.

Avoiding circular dependency errors in DAX - SQLBI
If the above one can't help you, please provide some raw data in your table 'Sales' (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples. It would be helpful to find out the solution. You can refer the following links to share the required info:

And It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. You can refer the following link to upload the file to the community. Thank you.
