choosing date filters for a visual

Hi for the below query, i need advice.

I want to make the highlighted filter show me the total of the week befoew last (i.e. days 8-14) so it gives a week on week comparison in the report. Just wondering how can i do this?

should i make a measure for the below visual to sort the data

or can i set the filter by going to the filters tab ---- add date field ---go to advanced filtering and settign the dates to previous days 8-14?

Hi @cmckernan93 ,

Based on your description, you just need to apply the date field as a filter condition to the corresponding visual level filter.

But the default is Sunday as the first day of the week,You can also create a condition column.

var week_today = WEEKNUM(TODAY(),2)
var week_date = WEEKNUM('Table'[date],2)
return IF(YEAR(TODAY())=YEAR('Table'[date])&&week_today=week_date,1)
