changing data source from excel to business central

 

I have created report using excel as source but i want to change it with buisness central. 

How to do this please provide steps.

Hi @pra137 ,

Here are the steps to change the data source of your Power BI report from Excel to Business Central:

1. Open your Power BI report in Power BI Desktop.
2. Click on the "Transform Data" button in the Home tab.
3. In the "Power Query Editor" window, click on the "Data Source Settings" button in the "Home" tab.
4. In the "Data Source Settings" window, select the Excel data source and click on the "Remove" button.
5. Click on the "Add" button and select "Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central" from the list of available data sources.
6. Enter the connection details for your Business Central instance and click on "Connect".
7. Select the tables and fields you want to use in your report and click on "Load".
