Hello,

I’d like to propose and alternative solution for you, you might want to try out our app - Power BI Connector for Jira: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1221150/power-bi-connector-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overvie... it's available for Jira Cloud / Server / Data Center.

We have a handy User/Admin Guide https://aserve.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PBCFJC/overview and fast/responsive support team at support@alpha-serve.com. Please let us know if you need any assistance.

Cheers!

Anton

Hi @musa,

Did you find any solution to connect to specific JIRA project. If yes, then please share.

No, I am sorry. Nothing yet. We are working with manual exports from Jira 😞

https://XXXXXXX.jira.com/rest/api/2/search?jql=project="XXXXX Apps"&startAt=0&maxResults=1000

I get an error "Unable to connect"  Details: "web.contents failed to get contents"

(400)

Now if I take the same URL and paste it into a Browser I get a file with the data...

I am using a "Web" datasource...

Am I doing somethign wrong?

Power BI connect JIRA via REST API, it actually open calls to "https://xxx.atlassian.net/rest/api/2/search?maxResults=500&startAt=0". So you can only retrieve all data then add filters to get expected result in POWER QUERY. You may atlassian for more details about its REST API.

Hi, where do I define which project I connect to?

Hi vmestha,

I am not having success with this method, I am receiving a 503 service temporarily unavailable message.
