hi All,
Sorry for the delay, what i did was calculated individual average, earlier i had used the figures which had already averaged and so the system was taking the total of the averages. what i did was created new calculated columns and then selected it in the report and it worked fine.
example: Elec/TEU= sum(ENG2011[Elec])/sum(ENG2011[Throughput])*1000
thanks for all the help.
regards
SK
Try this MEASURE
Average Measure =
IF (
HASONEVALUE ( Table[Region] ),
DIVIDE (
SUM ( Table[Total Amount] ),
CALCULATE ( COUNTROWS ( Table ), ALLEXCEPT ( Table, Table[Region] ) ),
0
),
DIVIDE ( SUM ( Table[Total Amount] ), DISTINCTCOUNT ( Table[Region] ), 0 )
)Good Luck! ![]()
If this doesn't work - you have to tell us how your data is organized?
Is each row per Region a single repair?
That's what the above is calculating - sum total amount per region and divide by number of repairs (assuming 1 per row)
then in the total row it will sum overall total amount and divide by distinct number of regions (which is what I assumed you want)
