I have a database of students, each one of whom has a boolean flag indicating whether they are a young carer.
I have created the following DAX formulae:
Access Young Carer = CALCULATE('Access metrics'[Access], 'Access Data'[Young Carer] = 1)
Access Young Carer PC = divide(CALCULATE('Access Metrics'[Access Young Carer]), CALCULATE('Access metrics'[Access]))
to enable me to create a line chart, with year as the axis, showing year on year percentages of young carers.
I also have the following (manually altered) external data, showing the percentage of young carers in our local area:
Year Care Leaver %
2016 1.01
2017 1.09
2018 0.97
2019 1.13
2020 1.09.
How can I add this external data to my line chart? I need to show a direct comparison between our young carers, and the local population.
Create a Measure CALCULATE(Sum(External Value), Values(Yearin main Table), Year in External Table)
and this measure you can add to the Chart and it will be considered for report.
