add series name to data label

Hi.

 

In excel i can add the series name to the data label on a stacked column chart. But i cannot find it in powerBI, can u help me?

 

VBA code is as follows if that helps.

.DataLabels.ShowSeriesName = True

Thank you for your answer.

 

The issue is kinda the same, but the answer from v-jiasco does not answer my question. I need the data label to be fixed to the figure, not just shown by mouseover.

 

In excel i format datalabels and choose series name and value, and they are now shown on the figure.

Hi @Anonymous ,

I'm afraid that we cannot achieve your desired output in Power BI currently.

We only could set the data lable inside the chart like below.

You could post your idea in power bi ideas forum and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.
