Hi there,
So i have a year/month/week column in a report where i want to see the trend of the values over time.
The problem that I have been facing is that the 10th month (oct) kept showing up after Jan (1st month) instead of September (9th month). This was messing up the trendlines. So at that time, I changed the order of the values to show year/week/month instead (where week is week of the year). Now I am facing the same issue - the 10th week is not showing up after the 9th one but after the 1st one.
After some research, I figured out that this is because this column is in the text format. But when I try to convert it to a number format, it doesn't work [I have combined values with the delimiter "/" so it keeps saying the format cannot be converted].
When I try to sort the column w.r.t the week of year column it gives me this error:
I really just want the x axis to be sorted correctly. I'll appreciate the help!
Thanks!
Hi @Anonymous ,
The Column Week of year that you are trying to sort the date column is having duplicates. i.e Multiple dates having same Week of year, which is expected. So it cannot sort by this column
Instead you can introduce a new column that you can use for sorting the Column that you are using in your axis.
