YYYY-MM as a date datatype
I am trying to use dates in a YYYY-MM format. The conversion to this formar works fine, using the formula

If you have dates in your tables then you should create a date table. Join it with Fact and create all such formats in the date table.
You can use the time intelligence function to deal with prior.
To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s.

- Select the column you want
- On the Formatting select the Custom Format
