Hello Gurus!
I have a field which is a text format date (YYYYMMDD). When I try to change this to a date format, it rejects it and gives an error. How can I change this to a standard date format without going overboard with splitting and joining columns.
Thanks in advance!
Paul
Solved! Go to Solution.
Column = DATE(LEFT([Column1],4),MID([Column1],5,2),RIGHT([Column1],2))
New column (DateKey) with below formula worked for me
DateKey = FORMAT(Table1[Column1].[Date],"YYYYMMDD")
Column = DATE(LEFT([Column1],4),MID([Column1],5,2),RIGHT([Column1],2))
