Hi,
I would like to know how to calculate the YTD with a different FY, because if I make the "normal" YTD the result works, but the value in January starts from zero again, because our FY is form July to June, so I have already create a new calendar with the our Fiscal Year.
However, when I try to make the YTD Power BI don't recognized the period.
I have tried some different calculations, as below but none worked:
1st option: TOTALYTD('todos os dados'[10 GI_Pesato SOLU_c],'todos os dados'[Data])
2: TOTALYTD([mYTD_CM],'00 Calendario'[Date])
3: TOTALYTD('todos os dados'[10 GI_Pesato SOLU_c],'00 Calendario'[fiscal calendario_2021])
4: TOTALYTD('todos os dados'[10 GI_Pesato SOLU_c],'todos os dados'[FY])
If someone could help me please, I'll be so glad.
Thank you so much!

Hi,
This will work
=calculate([measure],datesytd(calendar[date],"30/6"))
Hope this helps.

Hi,
I'll need to see your PBI file then. Show the problem there clearly.
Hi Ashish,
Let me know if this screenshot is enough for you, because I tried to send the excel file but I didn't find this option here.
Thanks,
Gimenez

For both DATESYTD/TOTALYTD functions, you have an option to assign <YearEndDate>, addressing such fiscal year questions.
Thanks to the great efforts by MS engineers to simplify syntax of DAX! Most beginners are SUCCESSFULLY MISLED to think that they could easily master DAX; but it turns out that the intricacy of the most frequently used RANKX() is still way beyond their comprehension! |
DAX is simple, but NOT EASY! |
