Wrong visualization - Ribbon-chart

Hi everyone, I've created a super simple ribbon chart as I'm still learning. It includes a demo sales KPI for each day and product and everything seems fine so far. As you can see, there is no day with less than a couple of million units sold, which is correct.

However, when I change the date range, sometimes (not often), not all products get selected and the total amount is far from the expected value, even when no filter is in use:

What could be the reason for this issue? What am I doing wrong?

Hi @PeterPain ,

If I understand correctly, the issue is that the ribbon chart didn’t show the desired result. Please try the following methods and check if they can solve your problem:

1.Check that the data slicer to change the date range is correctly configured.

2.Ensure that the relationship between the date and sales data are correctly set up.

3.If you are using a measure for the sales KPI, review the DAX formula to ensure that it is aggregating the data correctly across the selected data range.

4.You can also try to refresh the dataset to ensure that the most recent data is being used for the visualization.

If the above ones can’t help you get it working, could you please provide more raw data(exclude sensitive data) with Text format or screenshot to make a deep troubleshooting? It would be helpful to find out the solution.

Looking forward to your reply.

Best Regards
