Hi,
I get data from Excel, which contains decimal data (different number of decimal places). to get some unique key, I need to combine the text and decimal values into one column. but power query incorrectly imports decimal values, adding additional characters. examples in the screenshots.
PS: this problem is observed if the data table is not in the same book where the request is made

Check the custom number format.
It might be caused by the data souce. You may use Number.Round to deal with it.
but how do I round the number if I do not know what number of decimal places will be?
