Hey All,
I'm currently trying to use Power Bi with Google Analytics. To be clear, I have read the other answers similar to this regarding GA sampling and how that can turn into incorrect results. However our data is nowhere near the capacity limit for GA sampling.
The problem I'm having is when I use Sessions, Pageviews, Users and filter the correct dates in Power BI my results are off by a very significant amount (Users will be 222,000 in GA but will say 295,000 in Power BI chart.) Almost every metric is off in Power BI and doesn't reflect what GA has.
Has anyone else experienced this? I've been trouble shooting this for a few hours and have found very little information online except for the power bi community.
Thanks for any feedback.
The data trieval from Google Analytics is controlled by GA connector which relies on Google Analytics Reporting API. We cannot guarantee the results of your queries when using this connector.See: Third-party service: Google Analytics connector for Power BI Desktop.
Please consult the Google Analytic support: https://developers.google.com/analytics/help/.

Regards,
Try to enlarge the period in GA from like the first day of your Website to now. Often it is set to yesterday by default.
Hope this solves your problem as well.
Hey!
Got the problems with connecting to GA. E.g. the value of Sessions is higher in Power BI than in GA itself.
Hope this problem will be solved soon.
