Hello.
I am working on a dataset and something weird is happening, when I have calculations using SQL I find numbers totally different than the ones on the report. For example I wanted to find how many transactions are recorded daily, for 01/10/2024 I have only one transaction in both my data source and in the data view of power BI, but on the report its showing 211 transactions, this is happening for every day in the dataset something is not working.
Hi @masaid
Ensure that the relationships between tables in your Power BI data model are correctly set up. Incorrect relationships can lead to inaccurate aggregations and calculations.

If you are using DAX measures to calculate the number of transactions, double-check the DAX formula for any potential errors. A common mistake is not correctly filtering the data or aggregating values as intended.
Sometimes, report-level or visual-level filters can inadvertently filter out data, leading to discrepancies. Check if there are any filters applied to your report or specific visuals that might be affecting the displayed data.
Ensure that your Power BI report is using the most recent data. If your dataset has been updated but your report has not been refreshed, it might display outdated information.
If the above one can't help you, could you please provide more raw data in your tables (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples? It would be helpful to find out the solution. You can refer the following links to share the required info:
