Not sure how simple you wanted it to be:) One of the ways would be by leveraging Power Apps with dataverse. I would recommend you follow this tutorial from Bas.

Hi @RajK2 ,
Thanks a lot @burakkaragoz and @MasonMA both for your time and hited the key points spot on. Integrating Power Apps into Power BI is the most flexible and enterprise-friendly solution, and your breakdown of Dataverse vs SharePoint backend was very thoughtful.

Hi @RajK2 ,
Great question — and you're definitely not alone. What you're trying to do is a classic writeback scenario, and while Power BI doesn't support direct writeback natively, there are a few workarounds depending on how "simple" you want it to be.
This is the most robust and scalable method:
✅ Pros: Fully integrated, secure, scalable
❗ Cons: Requires Power Apps license and setup
Same idea as above, but instead of Dataverse, use a SharePoint list to store comments. Easier to set up if you're already using SharePoint.
There are tools like Power ON, Acterys, or Inforiver that offer writeback capabilities directly inside Power BI — but they usually require licenses.
Let me know which direction you’re leaning toward — happy to help you build a quick prototype.
