Basically the title.
I've already pored over everything on the internet about this topic, and no solution worked:
After restarting the server, the gateway was not online, and this is what we get when loggin in to it.
After clicking "Configure", we get this:
However, neither option works, as we need a recovery key to migrate (which we don't have, since the people who installed this gateway on the machine didn't save the key at the time of installation). And creating a new gateway would just mean recreating _every_ connection that was previously created on the old gateway, since we can't change gateways in connections on the service:
The option to change gateways on the connections is greyed out.
Logging to another account doesn't work.
Restarting the server doesn't work.
Reinstalling the gateway doesn't work.
Anyway, is there any hope here, or is the only option left to create a new gateway and remake *all* the connections? (we're talking 300+ here). I appreciate any help you can provide.

Without the recovery key, there is no option than reconfigure connections

Hi @dlopesc04
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Forum Community.
Have you had a chance to review the document above? It mentions that without the recovery key, you'll need to set up a new gateway.
Thank you for your understanding and assistance.
@dlopesc04 , Make sure you are logged into the gateway and that it is visible in the Power BI Service under Connections and Gateways. While it might not be easy to modify the connection's gateway directly, you can go to Dataset settings and attempt to change the connection there from Gateways and connection
