Working with cube data - refreshing

Hi all,

I am connected to a SSRS cube in my BI report, typically my team uses the live connection to show up to date data. I am wondering if rather then connecting "live" would it be okay to import the data and set the report to auto refresh every hour in PBI workspace. Will importing data from the cube then refreshing it work? is there a special way to update "cube" connected data.

In addition, Power BI does not yet support switching from live connect mode to import mode directly, which means you need to recreate the measures, visuals etc. involved in the report...
