Working with a teammate on .pbix file

Hello - I know there have been similar questions on this topic in the past, but hoping there may be new features or options available for this scenario:

Each month, I refresh a report authored in PowerBI desktop and publish it to the PowerBI service for distribution to end-users.  As part of a new process, a colleague will write narrative summaries of the refreshed data in text boxes throughout the report prior to publishing.  What is the best way for two individuals to have access to the same .pbix file so that I can refresh the report and then she can go in and write the narratives?

I know that I could publish to a workspace where my colleague could add the written narratives, but this would allow others to see the published report before the narratives are completed.  Are there any other ideas out there?

Thank you!

Have her put the narratives as text files on a sharepoint.  In your PBIX pull the data from these files into the smart narrative field. Then she doesn't have to touch the PBIX at all.

In any case you want to put the PBIX on a sharepoint as well so you get versioning in case stuff needs to be restored.

The best long term  solution is to pivot to PBIP and git integration.
