Hi Everyone,
Could you please help me with how to load the HTML file created by SAP SM36 into the PBI desktop?

Hi @Anonymous
You're using the From Folder connector to open the file but you'd be better off to use the Web connector. When it asks you for the URL enter the full path and filename e.g.
You can then choose to load as many tables as you like
Please read this artice which will give you further help about loading tables from HTML files.

Phil

Thank you @PhilipTreacy for the solution. I can append all tables into one merge table. If the new data is more than the selected table the solution does not cover it but it is enough for now.
Hi @Anonymous
What method did you use to load the file?
I can load a HTML file from my own PC but that's not the same as loading your HTML file. Can you supply the HTML file you are working with?

I have realized that if the HTML file does not have a header line PBI cannot accept the file. When I tried another HTML file that has a header PBI accepted it as a proper file. (Until now always tried the non-header file)
Now, due to the file has more than one header, PBI sees more than one table and just load the only table1. Do you know how to load all tables at one time?
Hello,
I'm having the same problem when trying to load html files created by SAP to PBI desktop. Did you able to find a method to load all the tables at once ?
In my case, I'm trying to connect through a folder which is updated weekly with a new html file. And the no of tables in a file is diffrent from file to file.
Hi @Anonymous
If it's a single HTML file you could load the file from Get data-> More- > Folder then select the file. If you get the file from a web server/API then use the Web connector.

Hi Philip,
Thank you for your information.
When I try the methodology PBI does not allow to load of HTML file properly. Did you have a chance to load the HTML file properly?
