I have tried to install the 32-bit version of MySQL Connector, but my Microsoft Power BI is still in a 64-bit version. So it's not compatible. I tried to find the 32-bit version of Microsoft Power BI but couldn't find one. I was excited about upgrading my Power BI without knowing about the problem it had.
If I download the suggested connector version, my Power BI still cannot detect the connector.

Hi @Aleeya ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
Please make sure the connector is correctly installed,

HI @Aleeya It is because the 32-bit MySQL Connector is incompatible with the 64-bit version of Power BI. To resolve this, uninstall the 32-bit MySQL Connector and install the 64-bit version of the MySQL Connector/ODBC driver. Ensure the connector version matches your Power BI architecture (64-bit). You can download the 64-bit connector from the MySQL official website, and once installed, the connection should work without additional compatibility issues.
Hello @Aleeya
Uninstall any existing 32-bit MySQL Connector from your system.
Go to the official MySQL downloads page:
https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/
Download and install the 64-bit MySQL Connector/ODBC.
Choose the Windows (x86, 64-bit), MSI Installer option.
After installation, restart Power BI Desktop.
Try connecting to MySQL again from Home > Get Data > MySQL database.
Thanks
If this solution helps, please accept it and give a kudos (Like), it would be greatly appreciated.
