Why have the templates (pbit) increased in file size

Since the june update (2.82) power bi templates have significantly increased in file size.

A template that was 18 kb wil be 3.089 kb  now

Whe do use Power BI dataset is as the data source and i know a fix has been made for that in the june version.

Is the increase file size related to that

Hello,

looks I am having same issue using October 2020 version. Is this a bug or known behavior? It seems like this happens when you open to edit from Report Server - self hosted - and then export as PBIT file. I see file size jumps from 11KB to 3000KB. Please help!

There are no blogs and documents to explain specially for templates. Please give a feedback into the blog:Power BI Desktop June 2020 Feature Summary .  I think it is more quickly to get an exact response.
