What do I need to do to correct as to why the slider only changes the display on the right. Are the relationships at fault?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Happy to learn it is working now.
Do you mind marking the response as a solution so others can find it useful?
Yes, you can post the file.
Hi,
This looks to be a new request, somewhat different from the original topic. You may want to mark the initial issue resolved (if indeed you can now control the two visuals with your slicer), then post this as a new topic.
If you check your date/Bav column, you will notice it doesn't have that calendar icon beside it, that is most likely because it is not in date format.
You will need to format the Date/Bav column as date. This link may help.
Thanks for your reply FataiSanni. I was able to get a relationship between Dates-Bav Team and Dates-Strikers. So now both work together. I was wondering if I could post of this file to you so you could correct a few things that I can't get get my head round? (The data is all made up by me for the new season starting this Friday)

It didn't work the way I wanted it to. Here's the link to the folder with two files.
What I want to show is, who in the Baverian Team picked the correct player(s) from the list in the Scorers Team. The compared column never seems to work for me! I have included a file,Strikers, you will see in the file called Pivot Data that this shows that the Bavarian Team got 18 scorers right. If you could highlight in colour the names that would be great. Feel free to get back to me if this sounds crazy.

I think it is a relationship issue. Can you make sure the date column doesn't have time value. It is pure date value without time. Here is the link to the edit interaction https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/service-reports-visual-interactions?tabs=p...

@WheelchairWilly the visual which is not getting filtered, which column you are using for dates, it has to be from the common dates table.

I've tried all three Dates, (Bav and Striker). Bav dates operates the Bav and Strikers operates the strikers. When I use Dates/Weeks both data is removed? Not sure what you mean by
"edit interactions between the visual is set to filter."
