Whenever trying to import excel doc. from Sharepoint, getting an error shown in below screenshot.

Need help to resolve below error

Could you please kindly show the URL you used?

The URL should like this: https://[tenant].sharepoint.com/sites/project

If it's not considered as a SharePoint online site, it should have its own online architecture.

do you mean URL for excel file which is on Sharepoint?

I was referring when you connect the file using sharepoint online folder, if you are connecting the specified excel in sharepoint, please see the detailed prodecure: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-use-onedrive-business-links

Followed this process now & before also, but still not able to import excel file from sharepoint
